Student well-being
Minimal stress among the studentsS&I believes that student well-being is a key factor for successful student development in their education and career path. S&I see it critical to pay attention to both the physical and mental well-being of students during their study life in Wageningen. While stress is seen as necessary ‘evil’, coping with stress for student remain a challenge hence S&I continued with her effort to raise awareness and make students realize that stress and burn-out are real and there is nothing wrong to be open about it through the channels provided by the university.
RSI prevention
Be aware of your potential physical burnout.
CANS/RSI is a topic that has been discussed in WUR for a long time. S&I not only cares about the student's mental health but also physical well-being.
In Student Council, you can find a project which focuses on RSI prevention, such as asking the university to provide RSI prevention products with a discount. Meanwhile, we are also urging the university to provide more standing tables and more working/studying equipment for all types of students.
